After a 35 minutes scenic countryside drive your adventure
begins with a short walk through the rain forest to meet your raft at the starting point.
After some instructions from your guide, you and the rest of your co-captains board
your raft and enter the fast flowing water. With your tour guide steering the raft
from the rear, you use teamwork to paddle through the twists and turns of rushing
white-water rapids.
As you enter the deeper sections of the river, you can jump into the refreshing water
for a chance to swim and admire the natural beauty of your surroundings. The river
currents carry your raft over one final cascade as you pass under an old colonial
stone bridge and head towards the Caribbean Sea where your ride will end. This
adventure usually last for approximately 90 minutes with normal river flow.
We then transport you to Dunn’s River Falls for the second leg of your
adventurous day.
Dunn's River Falls is about 600 ft above sea level, with beautiful crystal clear
water running down the mountain into the ocean. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes
to climb all the way up the mountain. There are places along the way where you are
able to slide down into pools of water, take a swim and climb again. It's the most
popular Caribbean attraction...
There are trained guides at the falls that will assist you up the falls, or if you
are more daring you can take the climb without the guides.
There are also places where you can change your clothing and rent shoes if you do not
want to use your own sneakers for climbing adventure. Please bring a towel and
cameras should be waterproof if you are climbing the falls. Lockers are available for
rental where you can store your belongings.
These adventures you will cherish forever.
