For the most extreme thrill seekers, we offer the new activity of river boarding. Gear up, grab a board, and follow your guides into the splashing water for an unforgettable journey downstream that will take you through many sections of captivating rapids and clear water pools. Grab hold of a River Board and surf the historical Rio Bueno River with trained guides.

After a 35 minutes scenic countryside drive your tour begins with an introduction to the group of experienced tour guides, who will be with you every step of the way to ensure your safety and full enjoyment.

After a brief training exercise, you will walk across the rope bridge and take a short hike through the rain forest, following the path until you reach the starting point of the course. Where you take hold of your River Board and leap into the refreshing water, instantly cooled and ready to begin your incredible journey downstream. With your guide in the lead, you navigate through the exciting course using your hands and legs to steer over white-water rapids and splashing cascades. The currents take you to the mouth of the river and into the Caribbean Sea, where you paddle your River Board towards shore and onto a private beach where your river boarding adventure will end. This experience usually last for approximately 90 minutes depending on the flow of the river.

We then transport you to Dunn’s River Falls for the second leg of your adventure.

Dunn's River Falls is about 600 ft above sea level, with beautiful crystal clear water running down the mountain into the ocean. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to climb all the way up the mountain. There are places along the way where you are able to slide down into pools of water, take a swim and climb again. There are trained guides at the falls that will assist you up the falls, or if you are more daring you can take the climb without the guides.

There are also places where you can change your clothing and rent shoes if you do not want to use your own sneakers for climbing adventure. Please bring a towel and cameras should be waterproof if you are climbing the falls. Lockers are available for rental where you can store your belongings.
